BISE Lahore in Nutshell
The examinations for Matriculation and Intermediate level have been held under the auspices of the University of Punjab since Pakistan’s arrival on the world map.
The Board of Secondary Education, Punjab was founded in the province following the passage of the Punjab University Act (Amendment) Ordinance 1954, which assumed control of examinations for Secondary, Intermediate, and Pakistani and Classical Languages from the said University. In the year 1955, the first-ever examination for these phases was held.
Due to a large increase in the number of candidates, the West Pakistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Multan & Sargodha) Ordinance No.XVII of 1968 established two new Boards in Multan and Sargodha.
Boards were established in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Sahiwal as a result of additional division. The Punjab Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education Act 1976 (later revised by Punjab Ordinance No. XLVII) was used to restructure the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Lahore, and nine boards are now functioning at the division level in the province’s administrative framework.
Special Exams Policy 2021 for Matric 10th class Students of BISE Lahore
Candidates who were missing in the SSC and HSSC (Part-II) Annual Examinations 2021 or who refused to accept the award of 33 percent passing marks in failed topics or subjects may sit in the Special Examination 2021, according to the notified Promotion Policy 2021. Within fifteen days of the announcement of the results, such candidates must declare in writing their intention to take the Special Examination 2021.
Candidates whose admission forms were not submitted by institutions due to a lack of attendance may submit their forms and sit as regular candidates in the Special Examination 2021.
Candidates who wish to enhance their performance in accordance with the Promotion Policy 2021 are encouraged to take the Special Examination 2021. nevertheless. If a candidate wishes to improve in one or two subjects, he or she may do so, but the marks earned will be rewarded exclusively in that subject (s).
Candidates may take the Special Examination 2021 in the additional topic (s).
Candidates who have yet to take the Supplementary Examination 2021 may take the Special Examination 2021.
